Culture and museums

HalosenniemiMuseums in Tuusula are the artists’ homes Halosenniemi and Erkkola as well as the local museum of history and culture Klaavola. The memorial cottage of Finland’s national author Aleksis Kivi is owned by the Student Union of the University of Helsinki and maintained by the municipality. Also the Anti-Aircraft Museum, Workers’ Home Museum, Lotta Museum (voluntary auxiliary paramilitary organisation for women), the Automobile Museum as well as the Hospital Museum in the hospital area in Kellokoski are located in Tuusula.
