In Tuusula, good learning and prosperous schools consist of pupils mastering the necessary skills and knowledge, as well as participation, a sense of community and flexible teaching systems.

Our Municipal Schools in Tuusula 

• 13 schools in basic education for grades 1-6. One of the schools provides in-struction for Swedish-speaking pupils 
• Two schools for grades 7-9 in basic education 
• Three co-educational schools in basic education for grades 1-9 
• A hospital school 
• A senior secondary school with three units in Hyrylä, Jokela and Kellokoski

The nearest international school is situated in Vantaa.

Tuusula is part of the Keski-Uusimaa vocational education federation, and the Social and Health College and Pekka Halonen’s Academy are located within the municipality.

Keskisen Uudenmaan Music College (in Finnish) and the open colleges in Tuusula and Jokela also provide education here.
