Private day care centres

Tuusula has private day care centres supervised by the municipality and operating with different functional and educational weightings. All the private day care centres implement care, education and teaching in accordance with the early childhood education plan. For early childhood education and care provided in private day care centres, the guardians can apply for private day care allowance.

The monitoring authorities of private early childhood education in the KUUMA municipalities have compiled a monitoring handbook. The goal of the monitoring handbook is to harmonise the control, guidance and counselling of private early childhood education and care providers in the region of the KUUMA municipalities. The focus is on proactive supervision. The monitoring handbook clarifies the compliance and monitoring of the statutory obligations of private early childhood education and care.
