Open Early Childhood Education: Children and Family Clubs
Childrens clubs and family clubs offer activities that are good alternatives when the child does not need day care. The activities are arranged in regional family centres.
Participation in open early childhood education allows for support from the FPA (support for home care) scheme.
In a family club, the child has an opportunity to train its interactive skills in groups and to experience the joy and sensations through various activities. At the same time, the childrens parents get an opportunity to meet other parents and to add some variation to their everyday life. More information about the family centres activities can be found in the family centres weekly programme.
